Dr. Larry Bender has been practicing in Whitehall since 1977. A native of Minnesota, he joined Whitehall Veterinary Service upon graduating from University of Minnesota and has been here ever since. His area of expertise is small animals, including orthopedic and laser surgery. He also does large animal emergency work when on call.  He and his wife Dawn have 7 children and 2 grandchildren (with one more grandchild on the way!) They have a 1 1/2 year old Golden Retriever named "Annie" and two cats.
